  • CLUB DUES

    Did you know that club dues are officially past due? Clubs who have not made payment are now considered “suspended.” Check the Paid Membership Report to check on your club’s status. If you need to get your club back into good standing, do so on the Membership Update Center as soon as possible. Questions regarding dues payment, rosters and club status should be emailed to our member services department

  • MONTHLY REPORTS

    Since October, the new monthly reporting system has been available—making it easy to complete and share reports with your district administrator. Some of the information collected includes club activities, including fundraisers, service projects and Kiwanis-family events. If you haven’t been completing this report for your club, there’s still time. Past reports remain open all year for your reference. Find the report on the Membership Update Center. If you have any comments or issues, email Katie Griffin.

  • DINA MAKES MOVIE HISTORY

    Dina Buno, an Aktion Club member in the Philadelphia area, is making her mark in movies. In “Dina,” a 2017 Sundance and IDA award-winning film, she invites her fiancé, Scott, to move in with her. The two are head-over-heels for each other, but this new phase of their relationship also presents new challenges. The film shows how the lives of people with disabilities contain experiences both unique and universal. Check out the trailer!

  • DISABILITY AWARENESS PROGRAM LAUNCH

    As you know, Aktion Club is getting a new service initiative: disABILITY Awareness. We are currently putting the finishing touches on program materials and getting ready for the official launch in June at the Kiwanis International convention and Aktion Club TLC in Las Vegas. Program kits will be available for purchase at that time. (Cost is still to be determined.) Be one of the first clubs to own the kit for Aktion Club’s new service initiative!
