| Membership
is open to any adult living with a disability who desires to become a
leader in his/her community and wishes to provide service to others.
Every Aktion Club annually elects its own officers and organizes its
members into committees. Aktion Club meetings are similar to Kiwanis meetings,
are conducted once a week or every two weeks, and last about one hour.
A meeting may include business discussions, informative or educational
programs, entertainment, and refreshments.
Aktion Club is an official Kiwanis sponsored program, and therefore,
a member of the Kiwanis family, which includes:
- K-Kids (elementary school students, ages 6 to 11)
- Builders Club (middle/junior high school students, ages 12 to 14)
- Key Club (high school students, ages 14 to 18)
- Circle K (college students)
- Kiwanis Junior (young adults in Europe)
- Kiwanis (adults)
Assist with building a new and rewarding partnership that will offer
hope, happiness, friendship, education, and service for all. Build an
Aktion Club, where development has no disability!
