  • WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Thank you to everyone who entered this years' AC TEE contest. There were many creative designs for our judges to vote on- so many that we had a tie! In fact, the judges like both designs so much that they chose both designs as winners. Congratulations to The Aktion Club of Gaylord from our Michigan district and Sheboygan Aktion Club from our Wisconsin-Upper Michigan district. Both of the winning designs will be combined on one Aktion Club shirt, which will serve as our TLC t-shirt and will be in the Aktion Club store for one year!

  • Club Clean-up Brightens Bahamas Beach

On May 2, 2015, The Bahamas awoke to International Association of Athletics Federations Relays fever. While all eyes and hearts were fixed on the national stadium, a small group of service-minded people were setting out with a mission to make the beaches cleaner on the Montague shore.

Who was this committed band of individuals? The Aktion and Kiwanis clubs of Fort Montague.

Armed with gloves, garbage bags and Kiwanis-family enthusiasm, the volunteers fanned out into pairs. Containers, plastics, broken glass, fishing lines, plates, cups—they encountered all these and more. By the end, the club had removed approximately 100 pounds of garbage. And today, their fellow Bahamians and guests can enjoy a day at the beach that much more fully.

  • Thank you for saving lives

Aktion Clubs around the world participated in Eliminate week activities to raise funds and awareness for The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus. With every $1.80 donation, members saved or protected one woman and her future babies.

Millions of women in 23 countries remain to be immunized—so your Aktion Club is still crucial to saving lives. Your club can make the difference for those women and their babies with these important final steps:

Send in your donation. Use The Eliminate Project gift form for Kiwanis-family members when submitting all donations. Mail it to: The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International, 3636 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

Get recognized. Tell us about your project by completing this easy form to receive a participation patch for your club. You can even become a Bronze, Silver, Gold or 1K Club! Check out TheEliminateProject/recognition to find out more.

If you have any questions, please contact campaign@TheEliminateProject.org. Thank you again for your generous support . . . and for helping the Kiwanis family change the world!
