Smokey Mountain Aktion Club Supports Pancake Day
Wednesday, March 15, 2017
Members of the Kiwanis family helped fight for kids and families on National Pancake Day, March 7. On that day, volunteers throughout the U.S. and Canada encouraged patrons at IHOP locations to support Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Of course, Aktion Clubs got into the act. In Sevierville, Tennessee, for example, the Smoky Mountain Aktion Club helped raise funds at their local IHOP by assisting as hosts.
CMN consists of 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids in the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local, funding critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Thanks to the Smoky Mountain Aktion Club—and all the club members and volunteers who pitched in during this annual event!
