Passion for Service earns club Community Service Award

The Hardin Pioneer Aktion Club was named the 2013 winner of the Community Service Award at the annual meeting of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.  Accompanying this award were also accommodations from Governor John Kasich, Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor , Senator Keith Faber, Senator Cliff Hite, Representative Robert Sprague and Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives William Batchelder .

When initially chartered in 2010, the Hardin Pioneer Aktion Club had 13 members.  Since that time, the group has expanded in size, enthusiasm and effectiveness.  The club now has 25 members all unified in their efforts to serve the Hardin County community. Their passion for service to others is unmistakable in their astounding 38 service projects completed in 2013. Additionally, the Hardin Pioneer Aktion Club held various fundraisers and social activities which helped the members develop their planning and social skills.
